Hydroxypropyl Alpha Cyclodextrin

This product uses alpha Cyclodextrin as the starting material, and undergoes a one-step hydroxyalkylation reaction with propylene oxide under alkaline conditions to obtain the crude product liquid. After the crude product liquid is decolorized by medicinal carbon, it is subject to one-time ultrafiltration to remove macromolecular impurities, nanofiltration separation, purification and concentration, pH adjustment, and secondary ultrafiltration to remove bacteria. Finally, it is dried by spray to obtain the finished dry powder. There are no special reaction conditions during the synthesis process.

Hydroxypropyl alpha cyclodextrin is white or almost white powder, odorless, slightly sweet, freely soluble in water, soluble in methanol and ethanol, almost insoluble in acetone and trichloromethan
